o__o that catridge I would hardly define as a "close qaurters" round.....

Haha, that's what I had in mind when I designed it

I figured it as this, a big mother-fucking round, but not much powder behind it. Since the casing was made so short, then the cartridge would be slower, thus when hitting the target, not necessarily going straight through, but hitting the target, putting more damage in on the initial impact, then maybe carrying through. It would tear the front half of a person in half. If any of that makes sense.
Basically, I wanted a rifle that could fuck someone up that's not a shotgun.

Recomendation: 10x25mm pistol Catridge, called the 10mm Auto. It's a high preassure ultra high velocity pistol round that is meant to kill someone even if they are wearing soft body armor. It has a thousand joules of force [ a 9mm has 570 joules and a .50 Action express has 1200 joules] So it's actually extreemly poerful for a handgun catridge.

For a close qaurters weapon the 10mm auto, while not a rifle catridge, might be what you'd want for a project like this.

See, I would have gone with something like that if I was thinking of practicality at the time.
Practicality was far from my mind at the time. I wanted to design something that would work, but was utterly ridiculous. Like this.
